What you get

Built for brokers and agents — not generic CRM busywork.

Pre-filled from your phone

Open WhatsApp with the client number and a draft message already filled. You review and send.

Tied to the renewal board

Reminders start from overdue and due-today policies — not a random contact list.

Edit before you send

The draft is a starting point. Change the tone, add a premium figure, then hit send yourself.

Works on the PWA

Add InsuredBoard to your home screen. Tap through renewals between meetings.

Hindi and English drafts

Use templates that match how you already talk to clients — still sent as your chat.

No Business API required

No Meta Business verification for this flow. It is your personal WhatsApp, your send button.

What WhatsApp renewal reminders actually mean here

When agents search for WhatsApp renewal reminders, they often mean two different products. One is a Business API stack: templates, opt-in records, approved message categories, and automated sending at scale. The other is what most Indian agents already do every day — open WhatsApp on their phone and message the client whose policy is due. InsuredBoard is built for the second job, with less copy-paste from Excel.

From the policy card, one tap opens WhatsApp with the client's number and a draft renewal note already filled. You read it. You edit the premium or the tone if you want. You press send. The chat lives in your WhatsApp history like any other conversation. That is intentional. It is not a silent server sending thousands of template messages on your behalf.

The reminder only helps if the due date is correct. The CRM stores the policy on the client. The renewal board surfaces overdue, due today, and upcoming. WhatsApp is the last mile of that habit — not a standalone blast tool disconnected from the book.

Why Business API is a different purchase

WhatsApp Business API is useful for large operations that need approved templates, delivery receipts at volume, and compliance workflows. It also means Meta Business verification, per-message costs, and template reviews. Most solo agents and small agencies already have trust in their personal number. Clients reply to the agent they know. For that workflow, a pre-filled chat from the CRM is faster to adopt than an API project.

InsuredBoard does not pretend to be the API product. Marketing that says "automated WhatsApp renewals" without clarifying the mechanism often hides that distinction. Here the mechanism is clear: your phone, your send button, your chat thread.

What this page is not

  • Not WhatsApp Business API broadcasting or bulk campaigns.
  • Not an SMS gateway fallback.
  • Not an insurer portal or a live commission ledger.
  • Not OCR that invents policy fields before messaging.

How reminders fit the morning renewal list

Start on the renewal board. Overdue clients need a conversation today. Due today need a clear ask. Upcoming can wait until the right window for that product line — motor often wants earlier notice than a quiet life premium some clients pay by mandate. The CRM sorts dates; you choose tone and timing.

After you send, leave a note on the client. "Will renew Friday," "shopping three quotes," or "renewed with another agent" keeps the board honest. Without notes, you re-message the same people and look careless. WhatsApp history alone is hard to search across a book; the CRM note is the working memory.

Hindi and English drafts help when your book spans both. Still treat every message as something you own. Edit names, amounts, and claims carefully. A wrong due date in a draft is worse than no message.

Mobile-first, not Play Store

Add InsuredBoard to your home screen as a PWA. Open the renewal list between meetings, tap WhatsApp, send, move to the next overdue. There is no separate Play Store listing required for this flow. The phone you already use for client chats is the phone that sends the reminder.

Team seats on paid plans let an agency owner see whose renewals are pending while each agent messages from their own WhatsApp. The CRM does not hijack one shared Business number unless you choose that outside InsuredBoard — and even then, our product path remains pre-filled chat from the device in use.

Pricing and import

Try 7 days with up to 75 active policies and unlimited clients. Paid plans start at Starter ₹199/mo. CSV import is paid-only — prove the WhatsApp habit on a live sample during the trial before you migrate the whole sheet. See pricing.

Commission is still from the insurer. Estimate with the commission calculator. For the board that feeds these chats, see policy renewal tracking and policy tracking.

Who this is for

Agents who already renew on WhatsApp and are tired of copying numbers from Excel. Agencies that want the habit standardised without buying a full Business API stack. It is not for marketers who need thousand-message template blasts on day one.

If you need API-scale automation, say so when you compare vendors. If you need "open the right chat with the right draft from the due-date list," you are on the right page.

How WhatsApp renewals work

1

Keep due dates on each policy

Attach premium and due date to the client. The renewal board sorts urgency.

2

Open overdue or due today

Start with the policies that need a message now — not the whole book.

3

Tap WhatsApp on the policy card

A pre-filled chat opens from your phone. Edit if needed, then send.

4

Note the outcome

Record interested, renewed, or call back so tomorrow’s list is cleaner.

FAQ

Questions agents ask

Are InsuredBoard WhatsApp renewal reminders automated broadcasts?+

No. One tap opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message from your phone. You send the chat. It is not WhatsApp Business API bulk sending.

Do I need WhatsApp Business API?+

No. The renewal reminder flow uses the WhatsApp app already on your phone with a pre-filled chat. Business API is a different product.

Can I customise the message?+

Yes. The draft is editable before you send. Keep the client name and due date accurate.

Does this send SMS if WhatsApp fails?+

No. InsuredBoard does not run an SMS gateway for renewals. Use WhatsApp or call from the client record.

Is there a free trial?+

Yes. 7 days with up to 75 active policies and unlimited clients. No credit card.

Can I import clients then blast WhatsApp?+

CSV import is on paid plans. Even after import, WhatsApp is still one chat you send — not a mass API campaign.
