These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the InsuredBoard website and platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
InsuredBoard provides cloud-based software for insurance brokers and agents to manage customers, policies, renewals, agents, staff, and related documents. Features and plan limits are described on our pricing page.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to represent your business to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable insurance regulations in your jurisdiction.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@insuredboard.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of customer, policy, and document data you enter into the Service. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to store illegal content
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security
- Reverse engineer or resell the Service without written permission
- Upload malware or content that infringes third-party rights
6. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed as described at signup or activation. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect the Service.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. InsuredBoard is a management tool — we do not provide insurance advice, underwriting, or regulatory compliance services. You are solely responsible for your business decisions and client relationships.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InsuredBoard shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
