Ghaziabad is not a quiet UP town sitting next to Delhi. A large share of the book here is NCR life: the family lives in a Vaishali society, the breadwinner works in Noida, the car is registered in Ghaziabad, and the term plan was stamped in a Delhi branch. If your CRM (or Excel) treats that as four different worlds, you will miss renewals.
How a Ghaziabad book actually looks
Most agents here do not run a neat 'Ghaziabad-only' agency. You meet people in Indirapuram, Vaishali, Vasundhara, Kaushambi, Raj Nagar Extension, and Crossing Republik. Parents may still live in old Ghaziabad or around GT Road. The son bought a car last year; the daughter-in-law has a health floater from her Noida employer; the father still pays an LIC premium that started twenty years ago.
On paper those policies sit in different insurer logins. In real life they are one household. The working list you need is the person — not the branch city printed on the schedule.
Calls and WhatsApp here are mostly Hindi, sometimes mixed with English product names. Keep client names and due dates in English so you can search the list. Write the message the way you already talk on the phone.
Where renewals actually slip
The typical miss is not 'I forgot insurance exists.' It is that the due date lived in a Delhi-office Excel, or only on a laptop at home, while you were stuck on NH-24. By the time you open the sheet at night, the grace window is already tight — or the client renewed with whoever messaged first.
A second miss is splitting the same family: motor in a Ghaziabad POSP sheet, LIC in a diary, health in a WhatsApp folder named after the insurer. When the floater is due you remember the car. When the term plan is due you remember the society. You rarely see the whole household on one morning.
InsuredBoard does not issue policies or pay commission. Insurer portals still do that. This is the list beside those portals: who you look after, what they hold with you, and what is due next.
A week that works in this city
In the morning, open overdue, due today, and the next week. Call or WhatsApp from that list — from your own number, as a pre-filled chat you send. Leave a one-line note so tomorrow's board is still true.
When you come back from a Delhi or Noida meeting, add the new policy to the same client that evening. If the schedule PDF is on your phone, attach it to the person. Do not start a second login because the branch letterhead says New Delhi.
If the book is already large, do not try to type every old policy on day one. Put the next 30 days of Ghaziabad renewals in first. If that morning list is useful, bring the rest across on a paid plan (CSV import is paid). Trial is 7 days, up to 75 active policies, unlimited clients. Starter is from ₹199/month — same price as anywhere in India.
Questions from Ghaziabad agents
Half my clients work in Noida or Delhi. Do I need two accounts?
No. One login. Put the person once. Add every policy they hold with you — even if one was issued in Connaught Place and another in Sector 18.
Can I message clients in Hindi?
Yes. WhatsApp opens as a draft from your own number. Write Hindi, Hinglish, or English. The CRM fields stay searchable in English.
Is this an LIC or insurer office in Ghaziabad?
No. It is software for your book. You still log into LIC, health, and motor portals to issue and get paid.
